The University of Arizona’s C.A.T.S. Academics and Student-Athlete Development programs will leverage Retain to increase collaboration with its 21 varsity sport programs in Tucson.

C.A.T.S. Academics continues to help Arizona student-athletes rank among the best in the country each year. The 2018-19 academic year saw Arizona match its all-time APR record with 10 programs earning perfect single-year scores of 1,000 and six additional programs registering their best multi-year APR scores on record. The success in the classroom continued this past academic year when the department’s term GPA was above 3.0 in both the fall and spring semesters, extending the school record streak to five consecutive semesters, despite unprecedented challenges and changes to learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
